Global Justice (GJ) exists to mobilize and support a powerful movement of students and young people in the United States, in partnership with youth internationally, who are committed and able to promote solutions to the world’s most pressing and interconnected global and domestic social problems. Global Justice hired GPS to design and implement a Social Security education initiative focused on students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. As a part of this effort, GPS produced educational materials, coordinated a “Social Justice Tour,” and conducted educational Social Security seminars for college students. As a result of this effort, more than 2,000 students and women across the country received training to help them become knowledgeable about Social Security and proposals for reform.
